MUSIC BOOSTERS

The Cabrillo Music Boosters group is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that serves to support Cabrillo Middle School’s vibrant award-winning music program.  The Music Boosters’ primary function is to support the music program in several ways, the most important being fundraising.  The CMS Boosters help to pay for new instruments, uniforms, new sheet music, music tutors for beginning band students, and transportation expenses for festival performances.  The Boosters spend roughly $8,000 per year on tutors that work in small groups with beginning students during class and clinics for the advanced ensembles.  We spend an additional $5,000 or more on transportation to festivals.

There are many ways you can help the boosters to reach our goal of supporting. maintaining and helping to enhance our school's music program for our students including:

• Monetary Donations

• Paid Advertising in our Concert Programs

• Participation in Fundraisers

• VOLUNTEER

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNTIES

We are always looking for parents and guardians who are interested in donating their time to help out with the many tasks and fundraisers that the booster club takes on each year.  You can volunteer to help out with a specific fundraiser on a single-time basis, or you may choose to apply to take on the responsibility  of one of the many "Booster Chair" or Executive Board positions within our organization.
