chamber groups

All Year Class

Chamber Groups consist of combinations of wind, string or percussion instruments. Students learn how to perform with a small ensemble (trio, quartet, quintet). Traditional band or string literature will be explored and performed. These groups meet afterschool on Fridays, and rehearse supervised, but independently.

Requirements: Students must make a yearlong committment to the class. All players must be enrolled in a string or band class during the school day. These ensembles perform concerts outside of regular class time. There will be instructional clinics and trips.
