why join cms music?

The Cabrillo Music Department is known for producing top notch musicians, many of whom go on to excel in high school, college and beyond in professional music careers. Our department typically makes up about 1/3 of the total Cabrillo student population, so to join CMS Music is to join something really big!

Within the music department, you will learn to read, perform and create music, make friends, and make memories to last a lifetime in class, at concerts, and on music festival excursions. You will learn to cooperate and work as a team, and in music, every member is vital to the overall success of the group.
